Welcome to the Ashbrook Roofing Supplies website. Whether you are here to buy a single roof slate or the roofing materials for an entire house, our goal is to become your roofing materials supplier of choice.
Whatever we sell to you, we promise to do so in a professional, ethical and responsible manner. Should anything ever go awry, we hope that your first resort is to contact us so that we can try to resolve the issue.
We think it important that we clarify our terms and conditions in plain English so that you can understand our responsibilities (and yours). By using our website (even if you do not place an order), we are asking that you agree to be bound by them.

1) Terms & Conditions
Our website is growing and we are regularly offering new products and services. UK law and consumer guidance is subject to change. Because of this, our website and these terms and conditions may be amended or withdrawn at any time and without prior notification to you. You should therefore review them prior to making a new purchase or using the website.

3) Order acceptance
By selecting goods, a delivery service, submitting your payment details and clicking on the “Confirm Order” button, you are placing an order with Ashbrook Roofing Supplies Ltd. We will send you an automatic email acknowledging receipt of your order.
Where the goods you order are available; the pricing is correct; and where authorisation of your payment has been confirmed by your credit or debit card company; under most conditions Ashbrook Roofing will confirm acceptance of your order and arrange delivery of your goods.
Please note that Ashbrook Roofing is under no obligation to accept your order. We will advise you if this is the case (we will normally only reject an order if we discover a serious error in our pricing / delivery costs / product descriptions, non-authorisation of payment or non-availability of stock).
4) Delivery
It is our intention to deliver all products on your order within five days (sooner if you have paid for a premium delivery service). Where this is not possible we will notify you, and unless we state / you agree otherwise, we will ensure that your roofing supplies are delivered within 28 days of our acceptance of your order.
To provide a quicker service, we may (at our own expense), deliver parts of your order separately. Our customer service team will contact you if this is the case to ensure this is convenient to you.
5) Re-delivery
If we cannot deliver the goods to you at the address you provided (and at the time we agreed), we will notify you and store your products on your behalf. If you wish us to re-deliver the products we may ask you for an additional payment to cover the cost of re-delivery. If you fail to contact us within 28 days, we will cancel your order and refund payments to you, less the delivery and storage costs that we have incurred.
6) Responsibility & Ownership
Ownership of the goods shall pass to you as soon as we have received payment for the goods and delivery services in full. Responsibility for the products shall pass to you once they have been correctly delivered.
7) Order cancellation (Distance Selling Regulations)
When buying goods from our website, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 days of receiving delivery, provided that:
a. You notify us by phone, writing or by email within 7 working days of receiving the delivery.
b. The goods were not customised or made to measure for you.
c. You return the goods and the original packaging to us in good order and at your own cost (we ask that you do this within 7 days).
Ashbrook Roofing will repay you the full value of the cancelled goods including the original delivery charges for shipping those goods from us to you. We will make this payment to you as a credit against your original payment card and promise to do so in a fair and reasonable timeframe.
You are responsible for returning the goods and original packaging in good order to us and at your own cost. We ask that you do this within 7 days.
Ashbrook Roofing will not charge administration costs or restocking fees. We will however charge you for the cost of the goods if you fail to return the goods to us and also for the cost of the return delivery if you do not pay for the return of the goods yourself.
Items that are of a bespoke nature (i.e. that have been customised or made to measure for you) are not included within these terms. In instances where we have sold you bespoke or customised products we are unable to offer any return or exchange unless they are faulty or not as described.
This does not affect your statutory rights.

8) Warranties & Liability
The products we sell and our terms and conditions are designed to be compliant with statutory UK law.
Where we agree that we have sent the wrong goods or where the products we have sent are faulty, we will replace them (or the faulty part) free of charge, including delivery costs.
We recommend that you wait until you have received and are satisfied with the goods before making arrangements for their installation, especially if you have hired tradespeople to undertake installation. Ashbrook Roofing will not accept any liability for charges related to the non-delivery of an item.
To the fullest extent permissible under UK law, Ashbrook Roofing will not be liable for any economic loss or goodwill, however so caused, whether or not arising from any negligence on our part. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9) Copyright
All photographs, text, graphics, video and the design contained within the Ashbrook Roofing web site are protected by our own and our suppliers' copyrights.
10) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us and hold us harmless from and against any claims, actions or demands (including any legal fees incurred in connection) resulting from your misuse of our web site or your breach of these terms and conditions.
11) Choice of law and jurisdiction
Our website and services offered are designed for use within the UK, and by customers who reside or trade in the UK. All matters or dispute shall be settled with accordance to UK law and you agree to give exclusive jurisdiction to the courts of England and Wales to settle such disputes.
