The VELUX underfelt collar provides additional protection against leaks forming around your roof window whilst reducing drafts and loss of heat around the window frame.
Constructed from a flexible pleated polypropylene fabric, the underfelt collar can be moulded to the exact shape of your roof construction.
Designed to be installed at the same time as the window, the collar is dressed around the battens and against the roofing membrane.
Upon installation, the underfelt collar immediatly provides a strong weather tight seal around the window frame.
The additional transverse drainage gutter is designed to capture water and lead it across the top of the window should a tile or slate break above the window line.
Each BFX kit contains:
A one piece, easy to fit, pleated underfelt collar.
Galvanised steel transverse drainage gutter to lead water away from head of window.
