Marley Eternit is one of the most respected suppliers of man-made roofing slate and tiling products in Europe. The original ‘Eternit’ fibre cement works was established near Brussels in 1905 to produce and distribute man-made roofing tiles. The company continued to expand and prosper, eventually becoming part of the global ‘Etex’ group.

The Marley Eternit portfolio includes a broad range of building products. The company is most widely known for its superb quality, Fibre Cement Slates. Eternit’s surprisingly affordable, man-made roofing slates have earned tremendous respect in the industry for their quality, regularity, light-weight and easy fitting. The product range also includes matching Fibre Cement Ridge Tiles and Roof Fittings.

Eternit’s BBA certified roofing products are available in a wide range of colours; their Thrutone slate is even available with a choice of three pre-formed shapes. Marley Eternit’s Thrutone and Birkdale fibre cement slates can be fitted to roofs with a pitch as low as 15º – currently the only slate available in the UK with that capability!
