With an unobstructed opening of greater than 0.33m2, and width and height both exceeding 450mm, this roof window size is suitable for emergency escape requirements. (The roof window must be installed to Building Control Guidelines to achieve this requirement).
Technical detail:
Suitable for use on a roof pitch of between 15-55°.
The window opens (and holds) at any position up to 45°.
The ‘GPU’ part of the code refers to the window frame which, in this case, is white lacquered polyurethane with a timber core. This makes it ideal for those looking for a window that is ideal for contemporary interiors, or for installing in rooms with high humidity.
