Lead Fixing Clips
Still using home-made wedges to fix lead step flashing? These simple lead fixing clips make the job a whole lot easier – saving your time and easing your workload!
Wish I’d thought of it – small, stainless steel spring-clips that hold the flashing in place while you work. These clips allow you to dress the lead before pointing-in with a suitable sealant. The clips will work in any clean chase joint with a width of 6 to 18mm. Ideally, a step flashing joint should have a depth of 25mm.
How are they used? Just fill a pocket with a handful of these convenient clips – bend the flashing into the joint, then poke in a clip with a screwdriver. Make sure that the stamped, ‘H’ side of the clip is on top for the best grip. Use at least one clip per step, for step flashings.
We supply these Lead Fixing Clips (also known as Hall Clips) in handy packs of 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50.
