The Marley Garsdale slate is the fibre cement alternative to a traditional, lightly textured quarry slate with clean, square-cut edges. With a close resemblance to natural, blue-black slate, this is an attractive option for an authentic look at a more affordable price.

Marley Eternit recomend the use of copper fixings (copper nails & copper disc rivets) when installing their fibre cement slates.
Due to the close fitting nature of fibre cement slates, in accoradance to BS5250, ventilation of the roof space is required (normally at eaves and at high level). The easiest way to achieve this is to install eaves vents and dry ridge systems.
